During the project lifetime, the UrbanWINS team will produce and issue several documents as a results of the research and the activities carried out within different Work Packages. These documents are useful resources for cities interested in adapting and replicating the eco-innovative waste prevention and management strategies to be developed.

– UrbanWINS D1.1. State of The Art

The first deliverable presents the methodology followed to the literature review. This research aimed the collection and classification of waste prevention and management policies and strategies currently in use in the target countries. This task was complemented with the collection of data via an online questionnaire to relevant stakeholders and an analysis of topic-related EU projects.

– UrbanWINS D3.1. Stakeholder Matrixes

The current deliverable describes the methodology used to the identification and the conception of a stakeholder matrix. This approach was based on three consequential phases: Identification, Mapping and Matrixes and was performed using a management tool kit named “Stakeholder Categorized Map (SCM)”. The main results were the identification of an initial group of country stakeholders within the urban metabolism framework and, at a second stage, a refined matrix was developed promoting the analysis concerning the power, interest and dynamism of the stakeholders, comparing the stakeholders’ answers and relativizing the absolute value of their answers.

 – UrbanWINS D3.2. Online Agoras

The present derivable was settled to describe the integration of the Online Agoras spaces. These are the digital compliment to the physical Urban_Wins Agoras and was developed  to share knowledge, documents and experiences, creating a network between users, to engage target audiences in the participatory processes, to better inform innovative waste management strategies, to increase target groups’ commitment to and involvement in decisions and actions, to communicate and disseminate the results within the project to relevant target groups and encourage the participation of stakeholders. The Online Agoras includes one language for each country platform except for Spain plus one “international platform” in English and the content inputted should be mostly related to initiatives occurring within that country but could include international examples.

 – UrbanWINS D3.3. Syllabus

This deliverable report on the methodology and program of the activities to train teams, preparing them with competences in collaborative approaches for promoting the creation of the physical urban agoras for stakeholders from various sectors to support joint development of strategies based on mutual learning in each city. Syllabus will favour “hands on” and experimentation as a more efficient way for participants to acquire competences and internalize concepts essential for phasing and structuring efficient collaborative processes.
